William D. Harlan, Accredited VA Attorney about me

My name is William D. Harlan, I am an elder law attorney, and I am accredited by the Department of Veteran Affairs to be an advocate for veterans in obtaining their well deserved benefits. I have spent the past 24 years helping people in Southern California receive quality health care while legally protecting their family assets.

When I talk to most veterans, I am surprised to learn how little they know about their benefits through the VA. Many of these veterans were honorably discharged, are over 65, and are struggling with the high cost of their care.

If you or a member of your family is an honorably discharged veteran who served at least one day during a period of wartime (the term "wartime" is very broad), age 65 or older, and if you are in an assisted living facility or are spending several hundred dollars a month or more on the cost of your health care, then you may qualify for a special pension program through the VA that can pay up to $1,949.00 per month to pay for home health care, assisted living care, and nursing home care.

You could be eligible for this additional income - even if you did not retire from the military or do not have a service connected disability. Under certain circumstances, the wife or a widow of a veteran may qualify for a pension benefit.

Call me today toll free at 1(800)559-1738 for an assessment of your personal situation. All information that you provide to us is kept confidential. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to veterans and their families.
